What is Kids’ Night on Broadway?

A year-round national audience development program of The Broadway League, the national trade association of the Broadway industry. KNOB is presented in NYC by the New York Times.

 

What happens on Kids' Night?

On Kids’ Night on Broadway, kids age 18 and under get to see a participating Broadway show for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. See terms and conditions.

 

How do I get free tickets for my kids?

During the Kids' Night on-sale period, use the ticketing links on this site. You can also order tickets by phone, or visit the shows' box offices. See individual show pages when available for detals. All tickets must be purchased in pairs--one for you and one for a child age 18 and under. Each ticket will print at half-price. See terms and conditions.

Please make sure when selecting seats that the Kids' Night offer is applied. Not all seats in the theatre will be available for Kids' Night pricing, and purchases made at full price are not refundable or exchangeable.

How do I get a copy of the Kids' Night on Broadway souvenir Playbill? 

In past years, the playbill was provided free of charge to all participants of KNOB in New York City. You can download archived copies of the souvenir playbill here.

 

What is the history of Kids’ Night on Broadway?

Kids’ Night on Broadway is a program of The Broadway League, the national trade association for the Broadway theatre industry. Designed to introduce young people to the magic of live theatre and make Broadway accessible to a new generation of theatergoers, Kids’ Night on Broadway has welcomed young people to Broadway shows in New York and on tour across the U.S. since the program was created in 1996 by the League and Theatre Development Fund.

 

How do I get information about all Broadway shows, including those that are not participating in Kids' Night?

Visit broadway.org for info on shows that play on Broadway in NYC and in as many as 240 cities across the U.S. each year on national tour.
